Report of active shooter at two schools appears to be "a bogus call"

A report of an active shooter at Western High School "appears to be a bogus call," Lt. Col. Carl Yates of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
Western High School and nearby Waller-Williams Environmental School were placed on lockdown after the report was called in to MetroSafe Friday morning, Yates said. The caller referenced "something's going to happen" at the school and a "shooter is in the building," Yates continued.
