35 years owning them. Have one in the LR and one in the basement. Basically, two model 244's, I believe. So, at mid night, last night, I filled the box 75% full and choked it down for the night.
16 hours later I added some hardwood kindlling and logs, full air....back to burn.

I'd look at units on sale that are used. CDW cast iron frameworks are great.
