BOSTON —There are two cases involving two children putting the embattled Department of Children and Families in the spotlight again.
Gov. Charlie Baker and the head of DCF will hold a news conference on the death of Avalena Conway-Coxon, the 2-year-old girl found dead in an Auburn foster home.
Another child taken from that home in grave condition is now in a rehab facility. No charges have been filed in that case.
That comes as new information is learned about another toddler found dead this week in Worcester.
