it's about time we got this group going strong! I check it all the time and sometimes it doesn't change for weeks. I know we are all busy, but lets talk!

I'm up in Traverse City and we've only had a couple of dustings of snow, unlike so much of the state. We're usually on the list of places that got hammered w/snow but so far we are spared.

I hope many Michiganders make it over to this group. I'd love to see this group have more discussion and I will do what I can to help contribute to that!

I hope others join us here.

I'd like to hear about what's going on in the state. I also don't understand Michigan politics, so I'd like to learn more. I lived out of the state for nearly 20 years, and have been back only a few, so I've much to learn.

I'm wondering where the snow is, too, although, I'm not asking for some. It's mighty cold outside (mid-20s), but they say it's going to warm up again (40s) in a few days.

Our first snowfall was November 10. This snowfall, however, hasn't completely melted. The ground isn't completely covered, but it is partially covered.
