The REAL Bottom Line on Michigan's Proposal 1 of 2015: Just Say NO!
From large pieces of asphalt being smashed into the window of a "mock" school bus, paid for at some point or the other by taxpayers dollars. To the drumbeat of some Democrats calling other Democrats and Progressives strongly against Proposal 1 "Teabaggers".
Also, confusing some voters by using a Ex-Senator from Michigan - Carl Levin in a commercial supporting of Proposal 1 claiming he is the current Senator from Michigan."

About the highly ineffective strategy of ignoring Detroit and the core Economic Policies of this Governor that resulted in a large disconnected base who did not participate in the November 2014 General Election. 
Okay.....and you probably blame the Michigan voting populace for this lost, correct? 
Furthermore, just curious.....Did you have the same reaction when a known blogger called Progressives voting against Proposal 1 Teabaggers?

Last time we checked Gary Peters is a Democrat and Senator --- and said this about Proposal 1:
"What we have is a failure of leadership from the governor and from the Legislature," Peters said.

Notice Senator Peters said, "THE LEGISLATURE". One would assume ANY member of the LEGISLATURE that voted for Proposal 1 to be placed on the ballot, correct?
So why are other Democrats walking in "lock step" with Governor Snyder on Proposal 1? Why did some Democrats vote for this "TieBarred" piece of hot mess late last year (as it took Democratic votes to pass it with Immediate Effect)?

The overarching point of the piece is Proposal 1 is a REGRESSIVE Tax Increase. Regressive Tax Increases always hurt folks in the Middle and Lower classes. Which is why it is baffling so many House and Senate Democrats sided with their respective as in Elected Officials -- Republican colleagues -- and voted to place this Regressive Hot Tiebarred Mess of a Proposal on the ballot?
And that is the Bottom Line! 
Absentee ballot was submitted a few weeks ago.
This is how Republicans try to raise taxes without appearing to raise taxes.
A regressive tax at that.
I gotta admit: the "Pro Prop 1" commercials are pretty slick.
