Rain in SW michigan

1. I'm in SE Mich and it has cooled of to a comfortable 71 here.

got good rain on the 4th. It didn't do much to quell the heat, but the hot weather seems to have moved out for now.

2. Not here in the Creek.

It's drought level here. I watered my front pines today finally, and a couple of hours later, you couldn't tell I'd watered them at all. We need rain horribly.

5. I've been watering my containers twice a day.

I've been watering the main garden once a day, but when I dug up some new potatoes tonight, the soil was dry. I'm getting out the sprinkler and soaking it all down in the morning while I'm at church.
