She worked the state. This played out not too long ago in the same way. I think it was in 2006. There was a golden boy chosen by Team Granholm who couldn't be bothered to go mix with the little people. Then there was Amos Williams. He hit every Dem even he could find from Marquette on down to Detroit and all points in between and sideways. That was an exciting convention and Amos won by a landslide.

....long before I or anyone else ever had the chance to vote for them in a primary. That goes against my belief that the voters should be able to choose the best candidate without it being done for them. Apparently we are too stupid to be trusted to vote for the right person.

From all my years in politics, right here in Michigan, a candidate announces, starts campaigning and either makes or doesn't.

Pat Miles lost because his strategy was "I was appointed US ttorney by Obama". Dana Nessel was everywhere, meeting everyone and tirelessly working.

The primary is scheduled for August 7, 2018. Will Pat Miles or William Nokes appear on the ballot ? The answer is no.

Since Nessel has already been selected 4 months before the primary, it sure appears to be that Miles and Nokes have been removed from consideration. What would you call it then?

I believe that the voters should choose the nominee in the primary; Obviously we disagree.
