oh my gosh.. I recognized this guy's name with the neo-con Pro WAR Veterans group. Vets for Freedom
Hegseth led that Vets for Freedom national tour (to bolster the elections) in their expensively professionally painted bus. They planned to come dazzle the students at Forest Lake along with Michele Bachmann but we were able to get the event canceled at the school. So they had to hold it at the American Legion.
Can't believe he is running to run against Klobuchar (not a fan of hers), but he is such a tool of the Corporations.

But what the Star Tribune left out
I found out some info on ol' neo con con Pete Hegseth.
1. He was stationed at Guantanamo (ummmm, I wonder if we can find out more of what he did there).
The photo was taken on July 20, 2007. In a very interesting coincidence, that is also the date that George W. Bush signed Executive Order 13440, which provided a new interpretation of Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions and has been described as allowing harsh interrogations.

2. He made the ALEC exposed site. Whole lot of interesting info on there.
