Why is Dave Spence so silent?

On my TV I seem to see several ads a day for Jay Nixon, for Clair McCaskill and for Todd Akin, but nothing these days from Spence. Is he out of money? Out of the race? Saving his money for the final weeks?

He advertised quite a bit before the primary, did he spend all his money on that?

1. i don't know.

I never see him on tv but at all the local fairs the biggest signs are for him.

Maybe he spent all his money on yard signs?

TV ads aren't, There are several Ed Martin billboards along I-70 just outside the KC area but I haven't seen any TV ads from him

I have a friend who is running as an independent. (He's more progressive than the Dem.) He can't afford to advertise like the others so everything is yard signs and buttons. The yard signs are made by another friend who runs a print shop and the buttons are made by a number of friends in the area. Surprisingly, he actually has lots of grassroots support and people seem to be proud to put his signs out. (It's a state house race.)

In this race, Nixon wins hands down. BTW-did you notice Claire's new route in her commercials? She's showing that she's ranked 50 in the most liberal/conservative senators and says that moderate it what Missourians are or something like that. Do you think that'll help her or not?
