Glad to hear that Democratic voter registrations are beating rethugs 2 to 1. The cons around here get pretty scary (Sharron Angle, Michele Fiore, the Bundy clan, the list goes on). We gotta turn this purple state blue!

I used to be a state employee so I recognize the importance of politics at the local and state levels. Throwing in some extra news, a human interest story or something funny or bizarre along the way helps to liven things up.

My sympathies regarding the scary conservatives in your state--I've been dealing with them in Texas for a few decades so I can relate.
