Longtime Nevada Assembly member Bob Price dies at 82
Longtime Assemblyman Bob Price died Jan. 4 at his home in Sparks.
Price, 82, served 14 terms as an Assemblyman representing North Las Vegas, a total of 28 years from 1974-2002.
Price was a longtime union electrician in Southern Nevada.
A Democrat, he was known for his tradition of closing out the final minutes of each legislative session by playing his guitar and singing, "Take This Job and Shove It," most often accompanied by a majority of the Assembly.
