I understand people are tired: big state election, covid fatigue, concerns about rising cost of living etc. etc. but now is the time to reload our values and shoot them out to our neighbors and friends and family.
If anyone is interested but does not know HOW to get in contact with the right people to get involved at the borough, township, city (precints most likely) level please let me know. Send me a PM with township (no need for name since DU is anonymous) and I will look up the information for you.
Putting it out there: Flemington Borough is looking for volunteers and a possible Committee Member for the 3rd and 1st precinct. I will probably step down from the 3rd, take over the vice chair role, and possible run for a spot on county committee. But I will NOT be leaving anyone hang to dry.
I'm still knocking on doors, making calls, holding the meet and greets, etc. etc.
We have a gap in volunteers for 2022 that we are trying to plug now.
Was speaking with a few politicos up in Maplewood on Saturday night at an event - and we need to start NOW.
