WASHINGTON — Gov. Chris Christie is fighting 23 different battles in court in order to keep state records from the public, according to Mother Jones magazine.

The publication says that local reporters and watchdog groups have been forced to go to court to get the documents released, costing state taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees when the governor's office loses its case.

The journalists and watchdogs characterized the reluctance of Christie's office to release the records without court fights as "unprecedented efforts to keep public records a secret," according the publication.

Among the records requests still pending are lists of who is paying for Christie's out of state travels, whether taxpayers picked up any of the costs of his fundraising trips for the Republican Governors Association, and the instructions given to state employees who also worked on the governor's re-election campaign, the magazine said.

However, I would be content with something like the shit he pulled on Menendez, drop the indictment near the 2016 primaries.
