Dems in Albuquerque need to get ogranized on this NOW! We need to let them know all hell will break lose if they pull this shit!

I live in Santa Fe, where we have a pretty high local minimum wage. People try very hard to complain about it, but without it the local poverty level would be significantly higher.

Oh, and for those of you who think Santa Fe is too expensive to live in, you're right. The county is totally depopulated, and wild deer now roam the Plaza.

In reality, this is a perfectly fine place to live. Every time you read about the median house price here, remember that most of us are buying homes well below that amount. The place I bought three years ago is about half of the local median price, and it's perfectly fine for me. Our home prices are greatly distorted by the ones at the top. Most of us, like most people everywhere, live in ordinary homes that are not outrageously priced
