Pedro Espada Sentenced To Five Years In Tax Fraud Case

Former State Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada Junior was sentenced Friday to five years in prison for tax fraud.
Espada was convicted last year of conspiracy and embezzlement, for stealing from his Soundview Healthcare Clinic in the Bronx and spending the money on himself, family and friends.
He faces decades in prison.
