The UN General assembly is also happening. I'd plan on legging it to GCT and take Metro North all week.

My office is in the more rural section of North Greenwich - across the street from the Westchester Airport on the CT side of the state line. Very train commute unfriendly! Taxi is $20 to the N White Plains station each way.

Work from home on Friday for sure with the pope bring near the UES and simply suck it up on the other days.

Do you know how much it would be if you took the train to Greenwich and cabbed/Ubered it from there? I commuted from Westchester to the UES by car for many years (and took the train in for many others but there just isn’t an easy way to get to the 70’s and York Ave hence the drive), and the UN GA was always HELL WEEK (there are electronic signs already up along the Taconic reminding/warning people about it. Add the Pope and it will be doubly hellish.

I really feel your pain! Great idea for Friday, maybe if there is someone at your office who does a reverse commute too you can take the train and split the cab fare.

Can't beat that by train and taxi! Ride home at 7:30pm is about 40 min usually - except Fridays that average 65 minutes - but might be 165 minutes with the damn pope! Haha. Def work from home.

My day is long because I do a hard cardio workout in the office gym in the morning and weightlift in the evening.
