Cuomo has $19 million in his campaign account

Here is a summary of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s July 15 campaign filing with the state Board of Elections. He’s got more than $19 million on hand:

Cuomo 2018
Opening Balance: $16,030,811.99
Total Receipts: $4,031,199.33
Total Expenses: $965,300.66
Total On Hand (End of Period): $19,096,710.66

And the state Democratic Committee’s housekeeping account, which is essentially controlled by the governor:

Democratic State Party Housekeeping Filing
Opening Balance: $922,210.01
Total Receipts: $777,962.76
Total Expenses: $543,533.83

In 2014, he won despite a record low turnout - and actually lost upstate!

it looks like he will have the job for as long as he wants. The maps from 2014 is interesting because if you were to base the election by the area shaded it would indicate that New York is Republican.
