A Greece woman says these parole officers stole money from her closet

A portion of a three-hour video Shannon Carpenter recorded via a webcam on the morning of Nov. 16, 2022, as parole officers searched a bedroom in the home she shared with her boyfriend, parolee John Grandberry. Carpenter alleges the clip captures Officer Doris Hernandez and a second, unidentified officer discussing how to split $6,000 of Carpenter's savings. Carpenter said the money was confiscated by parole officers and officers with the Greece Police Department. Hernandez is currently suspended with pay, and New York State Police have begun a criminal investigation into the allegations.
