Not to mention sweltering weather. We also get flood warnings, but so far my county (Warren) has been spared. And then today we had dangerous wind warnings. At least we haven't experienced the horrific flooding in nearby Vermont. "It's always something..." Stay safe! 
But that's only because this is a newer area with cables underground. I keep going back to Hurricane Irene when this area was devastated - and many lost power for days. And I went to Vermont shortly afterwards and the roads were washed out and cabins on Lake Champlain were completely washed away. And now they're saying that this is worse for Vermont than Irene, especially Montpelier, where they've declared a state of emergency. It's not over yet, but we were lucky here this time.
