High school student, 15, collapses, dies in Brooklyn

A 15-year-old student collapsed in a Brooklyn school Monday afternoon and died, police sources said.

The 4 p.m. incident happened at the High School for Civil Rights in East New York.

Sources said the student, a male, collapsed while in class and was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he died.

Happened to the child of a co-worker of mine. Dropped dead playing hoops with his dad.

Very sad for all involved.

and other high cafiene drinks are sending lots of kids to hospitals with heart problems.

There was a Swiss study that determined that minimal consumption could (in some people) increase risk of stroke by 300%.

But - SURPRISE! SURPRISE! - the study was not allowed to be released in the US.

Basically, they found that those drinks could re-wire neuropathic (neurological? - I'm no doctor) networks in some individuals, basically altering their brains.

I would try to find it, but I pretty much suck at google stuff.
