Man dies in St. Barnabas Emergency Room waiting area

BRONX (WABC) -- There are many questions surrounding the death of a young man found slumped in a chair in the waiting room of a Bronx Hospital eight hours after seeking medical help there.

In an Eyewitness News Investigators Exclusive, a worker at St. Barnabas Hospital says the patient had come to the emergency room Sunday night complaining about a rash. His vitals were taken and he was told to sit in the waiting room until his named was called.

The worker who requested anonymity says eight hours later that Monday morning, a security guard found the man dead in a waiting room chair.
