Report: Plan In Place To Move Unidentified Victims’ Remains To 9/11 Museum

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — The 9/11 Museum is preparing to receive the remains of unidentified victims of the attack on the World Trade Center, according to a published report.

The Medical Examiner’s office is finalizing plans to transfer the remains, the New York Post reported.

“We’re getting ready,” said city Medical Examiner’s Office spokeswoman Julie Bolcer. “We’re planning the move.”

Current plans call for the remains to be stored behind a wall engraved with a quote from Virgil: “No day shall erase you from the memory of time,” the Post reported.
