I think it's time for Pope's puppet and Duke's darling to take a seat and let someone who cares about NC and ALL of its people take charge.

I was feeling a little hopeless about our situation and then yesterday's rushed hate vote took me over the edge, actually it has lit a fire under me. Let's share this link with friends and family and see how we can help bring Governor Cooper on board especially by giving him donations. If you've never volunteered on a campaign this would be a great time - it's so worth it in the long run!

1. I am already seeing a big push to support Cooper.

I am going to send some of my less politically aware friends who have been asking what they can do to help remedy the situation his way to volunteer as well.

2. Are they asking what they can do because of this new law?

Or just overall frustration? I'd love to see McCrory and Burr gone. If I can get that and a handful of GA people out, that's all I'll need for Christmas.

Republican Governors Association banner ad I saw....

"Roy Cooper - a 30 year liberal politician who gave NC higher taxes" (they emphasised that bit.... not just me)
