Petition to boycott Limpballs on WTAM 1100AM in CLE OH

Hello all! Long time no see! Long time since I've been at the DU Ohio thread! HI!

Anyhow, I'm sure you heard about Jabba the Slut's week-long attack on Sandra Fluke.

THIS JUST IN:
Quicken Loans & Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert tweeted (via Sports Illustrated's Fan Nation)

Due to Rush Limbaugh's inflammatory comments along w/valuable feedback from our clients & staff, Quicken Loans has suspended ads on his show.

The Cavs of course use WTAM 1100 as their flagship station for Cavs games broadcasts. And coming up is the new Cleveland Indians 2012 season, also using WTAM as their flagship, as do the Cleveland Browns.

I'd like to start a petition to finally get Douche Flemball off this public clear channel station in CLE OH (and 14 states and half of Canada as the old 3WE used to proclaim) and back up Dan Gilbert's ad pull.

Sports fans in CLE OH have had to suffer commercial breaks on 1100AM featuring this multi-millionaire bigot for DECADES since Clear Channel Communications (CCC) took over and consolidated all radio play-by-play broadcasting of CLE OH pro sports teams over a decade ago. Dan Gilbert smartly realized the mere ASSOCIATION of his insurance company with Limpballs could be bad for Quicken's IMAGE and the company's bottom line. (He's probably contractually tied to WTAM for Cavs broadcasts but he's got an army of lawyers if he wants to move Cavs broadcasts.)

I say we start a petition to compel WTAM/CCC to DROP the Limpballs show AND urge Gilbert, Larry Dolan (Indians) and Randy "MBNA" Lerner (Browns) to pull their teams' broadcasts from WTAM AND replace Oxycontin Boy with THOM HARTMANN.

I know sports are an escape and people do NOT want to hear about politics when they go to the game. (NOTE: don't try to get signatures for petitions outside sporting events - I've tried, it doesn't work.)
But I think a petition like this might at least move the ball a little. (See the success http://stopbeck.com/ has had getting advertisers to dump Glenn Beck.)

Anybody know how to get an on-line petition started? The DU-OH board can come up with the petition's language! And if it gets traction we may be able to make similar petitions for stations that carry Limpballs throughout OH and beyond!

I'm not sure how petitions are distributed once you start one, but it looks easy enough:

Also, too, digby has a must read post about this today:

Welfare sluts and the men who hate them
by digby

It is absolutely disgusting that this despicable specimen is given millions of dollars and a platform on the public airwaves to spread his hatred, and it is past time we stand together and say ENOUGH.

Just heard on Keith Olbermann COUNTDOWN on Current TV
that THIRTY FIVE sponsors have DROPPED Limpballs!
And two stations have DROPPED the show entirely!

Let's get some good solid petition language going!
