Former OU prez {& Democratic governor} sought for interview by investigating law firm. Retaliation?

The law firm investigating allegations of serious misconduct at the University of Oklahoma on Friday asked for the first time for an interview with former President David Boren.

"They've requested an opportunity to meet with him and we're going to operate in good faith to try to get that accomplished as soon as practical," said Brewster, a prominent Tulsa attorney. "He's directed us to be responsive."

He said the law firm, Jones Day, had been told Boren has "an attitude of transparency and will be happy to cooperate in all respects with any investigation."

Sources last month told The Oklahoman that investigators with the Jones Day law firm have asked whether Boren sexually harassed male aides. Sources said investigators also have asked whether Boren acted inappropriately around male OU students.

Please note that in January I posted a thread about Boren and the current OU president were in a feud. The alllegations of misconduct arose afterwards which could mean that retaliation is a possible motive.
