Toomey, Rothfus hide behind telephone "townhalls"

I got not 1, but 2 robocalls today inviting me to participate on telephone "townhalls" to talk about the economy.

Interesting that both calls used exactly the same language. I'll go out on a limb and guess the GOP strategy is to promote their taxcut from which few regular working folks benefit.

I can't remember, don't think he's come here since he stole Katie McGinty's seat.
Rothfus does show up occasionally because he has shorter terms.
Don't care for either men.

He didn't even make many public appearances while running for re-election last year, iirc.

They can't actually face their constituents.

They spend half the time hawking their talking points; as you mentioned, the meme du jour is "taxcuts". Then these Republican chickens screen the calls, so as to increase brainwashing points in their answers.

Can't wait to see Rothfus soundly defeated in November. My only regret is that I can no longer vote against him, as we're in the new 14th.
