To stay up to date on what the GOP is doing in Congress,

I get the Sen. Toomey email messages. The latest one is in regards to the ACA, and has horror stories from a few of his "constituents". At the end of the message, he adds this (sorry that I can't link directly to the newsletter, since you have to sign up on his website to see it):

If you have lost your health care coverage, or have seen your rates rise because of the president's health care law, I encourage you to share your story with me. You can write to my office or tell me on Twitter at @SenToomey. I will continue working in Washington with members of both parties to find ways of undoing this law's most harmful aspects.

I could not let this go. I shot out an email to him chastising him for the one-sided tack he is using. I made it clear that I noticed that he was not interested in hearing any success stories, and that showed me how partisan and one-sided he was.

I know that I am tilting at windmills, but I just could not let this go without calling him on it. Our voices have to be heard, even if they will be ignored in the short term.

and send a long email, but I know that short and sweet is best. Telling him that I was disappointed in his partisanship being so transparent was the message I wanted to convey this time around.

But there will be more emails in the future. Every time I get one of his messages, I find something to disgust me.

He needs to know that he represents ALL of us. We only have two Senators for the whole state. He has to think about all of us.
