Pa. judge accused of DUI falls over during sobriety test

A county judge in western Pennsylvania is facing a DUI charge after admitting to police who stopped her that she had had too much to drink, as well as stumbling and falling during a field sobriety test.

TribLive.com reports that when asked by an officer if she had been drinking, Common Pleas Judge Christine Ann Ward, 58, of Shadyside, Pa., replied, "I did — too much."

The Allegheny County judge also had to grab onto a state trooper's arm to keep from falling after she had been stopped for suspected drunken driving during the July Fourth holiday weekend, TribLive.com writes, citing the police affidavit.

And when the arresting officer, State Trooper Daniel Beatty of the Kittanning barracks, attempted to perform a field sobriety test, Ward fell over, the website writes:

she makes very poor decisions all around, and had no business being a judge
