But while I am a liberal and a Democrat in South Carolina, I must admit I mostly posted to see if my reply will also say that it's May 19, 2011. Let's see!

Edit: Fuck! How long have they been working on this?!

60 year old white liberal Democrat. Not many of us around this state, but the current GOP presidential candidates and the past and present Governors are doing a lot to help our cause.

I'm in Aiken, which is Wingnut Central. But, I'm seeing more and more Obama '12 bumper stickers on cars that are mostly driven my middle-age white folks.

Fortunately for us, I hear that Richland County is more heavily Democrat than the Charleston or Greenville areas. That's comforting to know.

He's the owner of Mac's On Main and used to host the Richland County Democratic Breakfast once a month. I believe he is a member of IRmo city council and may be running for Irmo Mayor.

He has two years left in his term. He ran for mayor this year but lost to Hardy King.

I follow SC politics since I am currently stationed here, but my family, home, heart, and vote are one state north of here in northwest NC.

But I guess I am. I bit my tongue instead of speaking my mind in a business phone call when someone said that anyone would be better as president than Obama.

I'm not quite the fan I was right after he was elected, but holy cow! Gingrich all but announced that he would throw out the constitution if elected!

Just relocated from the Seattle area and am still in culture shock. Lots of retirees here from the North though so I imagine it's not as extreme as other areas. I'm currently deciding whether to stay or not...
