Hernandez again responds to Abbott controversy (re: engineered "prop" comment about Abbott's wife)
It’s round three in the statewide controversy with a local twist as City Councilman Victor Hernandez released a statement further addressing Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott’s event at the Jimenez Bakery and Restaurant.
The full statement is below:
“My name is Victor Hernandez and I am the current chairman of the Lubbock Chapter of Tejano Democrats.
“As you know, I delivered a statement publicly this past Wednesday (Feb. 26, 2014) concerning the overall negative tone being taken against the Hispanic community by Republican candidates vying for their party’s nomination.
