Ken Paxton fined for violating the very laws he would need to enforce

R - Attorney General candidate and current state senator Ken Paxton was fined and reprimanded for violations of the Texas Securities Act. Can you believe this guy wants to be the face and voice of enforcing Texas' laws?

And the only reason he came clean was because the media started investigating.

Everybody needs to get behind Democrat Sam Houston right now.

The first fine was from the state of Texas. Now an attorney has asked the Securities and Exchange Commission (the federal regulator of securities issues) to fine Paxton http://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/politics/texas/article/Lawyer-files-SEC-complaint-against-AG-frontrunner-5467210.php

AUSTIN - Days after Texas regulators fined Sen. Ken Paxton $1,000 for working for a financial firm without registering with the state, a plaintiff's lawyer filed a similar complaint with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

If Paxton did not report the income, he may also have IRS issues

Securities Law Violations

Horne was the president of T.C. Horne & Co., an investment firm he founded in the late 1960s.
After the firm went bankrupt in 1970, Horne received a lifetime trading ban from the Securities
and Exchange Commission.[16] The 1973 SEC report alleged that as president of T.C. Horne & Co,
Horne "among other things, violated the record-keeping, anti-fraud, and broker-dealer net capital
provisions of the federal securities laws and filed false financial reports with the commission."
Horne stipulated to an SEC finding that he and his firm "willfully aided and abetted" in violations of securities laws.
