State Representative Dennis Bonnen said in a committee hearing this week that there has been "way too much focus on the children" refugees along the border. He also made a faux pas during that same meeting that might have some Cajuns ragin' and maybe anyone who speaks Spanish as a first language.

The first rule of using ethnic slurs is -- don't. Sure there may be exceptions like referring to yourself for instance (if you're into that sort of thing) but certainly not at the dias of a Legislative Committee Hearing which you are Chairing...

5. Well, I am not from TX and I don't know much about state politics there...but I certainly agree

with your assessment of this turd.

I probably know more about how the governorship functions as a consequence of your last two beauties in that job than I ordinarily would, because various news outlets have covered how that works and how Perry has changed the system from a "weak governor" system to a "crony-bullying and threats" system....but I never knew any of the personalities at the state or local level.

This guy sounds like a real ... prize.
