Police: Man fired BB gun during New Braunfels High band practice

A 67-year-old man has been accused of shooting two high school students from New Braunfels with a BB gun.

William Henry Kloss was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of aggravated assault after two students, ages 16 and 17, suffered minor injuries after being struck by pellets, police said.

The students are members of the New Braunfels High School band and were practicing Tuesday afternoon at the school when they were struck by what appeared to be pellets from BB or pellet gun, police said.

Police say the pellets were fired from a home near the school on Ohio Avenue.

It looks like the man could get some serious punishment since it is a second degree felony.
