FOLKS: I'M BACK IN TEXAS!!!

At long last, my work assignment in Denver is over. And here I am in the Hill Country, awaiting the completion of a home we're having built. I cannot adequately express how good it is to be in my native state---for good, this time. This is my first DU post since we came back home; I look forward to talking with everyone, once again. Best wishes......

and I consider Texas to be one of the worst places in America to live, especially compared to Denver.

Thank you for this piece of information. This is the Texas group, I'm sure there is another group you might find more appropriate.

....as fucked up as it may be.

And if you're so down on Texas, what are you doing, cruising the Texas group? Pretty perceptive question from a Texan, huh?

....there aren't any 21" snow blizzards in winter, like I had to put up with in the Denver area. It is so good to be back in Texas again.

I hope y'all get to move into your Hill Country home sooner rather than later. Is it to be in native rock?

Do you know what Congressional district you're moving into? Just curious if you were lucky enough to land in Lloyd Doggett's district or you're unlucky like most of us in central Texas and ended up in a repuke CD.

When the dust settles a little more, I'll check on where our house site is situated, district-wise. Doggett will always have my support, no matter where I'm located.
