Dallas County District Attorney Susan Hawk has 'no plans to resign,' remains hospitalized
Possibly ending the "will she or won't she" speculation about whether Dallas County District Attorney Susan Hawk will resign, her office said Tuesday that she'll remain the county's top law enforcement official.
Hawk has "no plans to resign," the DA's second-in-command, Messina Madson, told The Dallas Morning News. "She does plan to return."
But no one knows when.
Both legal and political gossip circles have been in overdrive since Hawk began inpatient treatment for a mood disorder and depression at an Arizona clinic. This is the third time she has sought such treatment since taking office in January 2015.
