CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas—The superintendent of a struggling South Texas school district has been suspended after he was arrested and accused of possessing marijuana.

Premont school district Superintendent Eric Ramos was put on paid administrative leave Friday following his arrest, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported.
