Texas voter registration question

I am covering calls from several campaigns in my county. A candidate's mom just called and one of their intern's voter registration says that it is not effective until Nov. 1. Texas is strange and you have to be registered 30 days before you can cast a ballot. October 9 was the cut off if you were going to vote on election day. Here, the intern's registration was processed around Sept 30 and so the intern can vote on Nov 1 which is still an early voting day

This is my second voter protection call of the day

I changed addresses and renewed my registration. I was given notice that my registration would be valid on Oct 13th ( a few weeks after the officials had recognized my registration online). As long as the date is before Nov 6th the voter will be okay. I think it is from the delay of getting the names on the physical roll books.

She sent in her registration card mid September and it was not updated on Oct 9th and when we called the Bexar County office they said they are over a month behind and they will all be updated by early voting. I checked yesterday and it didn't show anything for her online. This is her first time voting and it has been a struggle to get her to register for years so I really hope there are no hiccups tomorrow.
