Baby Trump balloon won't fly in El Paso for Beto rally, march because of wind
Although the big balloon used to mock the president was expected to be seen at the rally and march protesting his visit to El Paso, Baby Trump won't make it out tonight.
The woman who raised money to bring the big balloon, Laura Valdez, said on Facebook that winds had canceled the big blowup baby's appearance.
President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak tonight at the El Paso County Coliseum. El Paso Democratic U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar and her predecessor, Beto O'Rourke, will speak at a counter-rally and march, where they were to be accompanied by the balloon.
The Baby Trump balloon made its debut in the summer in London, during an official visit by Trump. Since then, Baby Trump balloons have popped up around the United States, as well as in France and Argentina.
