Latinos for Trump conference kicks off with controversy in The Woodlands

Organizers of the Latinos for Trump 2020 national conference, which kicked off Friday in The Woodlands, are aiming to correct the record after controversy erupted earlier in the week when several far-right groups claimed on social media to be attending the event.

State Rep. Steve Toth, R-The Woodlands, said Saturday morning that the event has nothing to do with white supremacy, and that it is merely conservative Republican Hispanics and Latinos trying to become more active in state and national politics.

“These are conservative Latinos,” Toth said. “(Those allegations) were the farthest thing from the truth. You know, Latinos and white supremacists are kind of like oil and water. They don’t get along.”

The kick-off of the conference was documented on the group’s social media pages on both Twitter and Facebook. Among the dozens of photographs and videos posted to both sites were pictures of smiling attendees of all ages, well-dressed and some in Make America Great Again hats and clothes.

I'm sure many of them have friends and/or relatives who will be targeted by trump and ICE if trump ever goes through with his "Kristallnacht"/round up and deportation of undocumented Latinx.

For Trump. The very rich and the very stupid have always had a symbiotic relationship.
