Donald Trump wades deeper into Texas politics with 20 endorsements in primary races

TFG has endorsed such idiots as Greg Abbott even though there are two more conservative idiots in this race. Greg is up with ads attacking Biden but I was pleased to see two different signs for Huffines (a RWNJ who is to the right of Greg) today I love the fact that TFG is endorsing Ken Paxton for AG even though there are two other candidates. Eva Guzman is an actual lawyer who is competent and she is up with ads for the last week

Former President Donald Trump has endorsed at least 20 candidates across Texas, throwing his political weight behind more primary hopefuls here than in any other state so far.

His endorsements have mostly been limited to incumbent GOP politicians in reliably red districts and are split about evenly between federal and state seats. Political experts say his involvement likely won’t make a noticeable difference in the state’s primary elections because Trump tends to back candidates who would likely be successful anyway.

Still, the former president’s endorsements in Texas are the most he’s made in any state, with Michigan next at 14, according to a tally kept by Ballotpedia, a nonpartisan politics tracker.....

“If the Republican Party doesn’t have Texas, they are in deep, deep trouble for the presidency, because it’s the largest treasure trove of electoral votes,” said Paul Brace, a political science professor at Rice University. “Texas is the keystone to any Republican’s path to the presidency. And so (Trump’s) attention to Texas reflects that. Texas looms large in all Republican calculations for securing the presidency.”

I hope that the GOP primary are nasty and we put to the test the value of an endorsment from TFG.
