The closest thing we can describe Beto's campaign is Obama's 2008 run, but with Texas flavor.

It talked about his overcoming his accident. Wheelchair featured prominently.
No policy or anything too chewy. No mention of guns or weather or grid or anything.

Just pablum like Repugs like it.
