Sebastien De La Cruz, known as San Antonios Little Mariachi, did such a fantastic job singing The Star- Spangled Banner the first time, the Spurs have invited him back for an encore.
Thats the word from a reliable source, who said the 11-year-old, a former Americas Got Talent semifinalist, will return to perform the national anthem in the AT&T Center before tonights Game 4 of the Spurs-Heat series.
As everyone knows by now, Sebastiens first performance prior to Game 3 of the NBA finals, set off a bunch of racist tweets. However, his singing also earned high praise from many on both Facebook and Twitter.
In a show of tremendous class, De La Cruz, as reported by Express-News writer Rene Guzman, said at a Wednesday news conference: I just want to thank everybody for their support. As for the racism remarks, he added: To be honest, its just the people how they were raised. My father and my mother told me that you should never judge people by how they look. You should judge them on the inside. And the saying that I go by is never judge a book by its cover.

I remember when Selena was making a crossover to singing more in English to spread the beautiful lyrics of her songs to more Americans. It was very sad when she was killed.
