Hi Vermonters. I'm moving to NEK

From Truro, Cape Cod. Big-ass move.
Once I leave the Cape I will likely never
be able to afford a move back here. However it
has changed so dramatically I believe periodic
visits will help overcome missing the ocean.
I love the mountains.

Moving to the only county that voted red.

1. I like Truro and Vt. If I had to choose, I'd take Truro.

Quite gentrified

It's unaffordable.

Only one police officer on the force is from Truro
(or can afford to live here as he has most of his life)

No service workers, educators, nor first responders can afford to live here

The coastal erosion is on steroids.

The part-time residents control the place.

It is beautiful, however.

Just different spectacular.

We made a similar move, trading frequent trips to the NC outer banks to the western NC mountains. And, to a redder area.

It's working out just fine.
