Fight over Youngkin nominee intensifies as House GOP threatens 1,000 Northam appointments

UPDATE: The @vahousegop ended up blocking about a dozen (I think) Northam appointees as part of the Andrew Wheeler fight.

Most of them were on environmental and education boards.

Youngkin can now make recess appointments for those roles.

It’s one of the strongest Governorships in the country. The counter is of course that they can only serve one term.
