1. Going to postpone the Super Bowl then?

I do see a winter storm warning down here but, west of the mountains. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, with up to 8 inches locally for Augusta County and larger area at the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

2. Predicting

1-3 inches here in the northern Shenandoah, although Alexa (in the voice of Samuel L. Jackson at my house) continues to resolutely predict "flurries". We're going to a basketball game which I dread (heavily injured JMU women vs. Towson) in the afternoon unless it's a damn blizzard. Team loyalty and all that.

3. I'm in Bedford County

and babysit my granddaughter in Augusta County. I was planning to leave tomorrow to have a quick visit with our daughter in Rockingham County but alas, I think I have to travel today...and don't think I'll make it from Fishersville to Rockingham tomorrow.

Ugh.
