With just four months left until the election, campaign fund-raising in the Seventh District Congressional race varies greatly.

Through June 30, GOP nominee David Brat received $609,144 in contributions while his Democratic challenger Jack Trammell had $155,003 in donations. Libertarian candidate James Carr reported $4,129 in donations as of July 23 in the three-way race to be decided in the general election November 4.
