Just a reminder--Vote absentee!

There are many bases for requesting an absentee ballot. All you have to do is download and complete the request for forms, then complete online or fax or mail them in. In a few days you'll receive your ballot. You have to find a witness before you open the inner envelope containing the ballot, but this can be any one. Once it's complete and both of you sign the inner return envelope, you mail it in.

Off year elections tend to produce low turnout, and this may be a close one. So please vote!!!

You do have to sign the form on the outside as well as the inside before mailing.

I've been doing it for twenty years. This way, you never miss any elections.

So easy. No, you don't need a witness. They send you the ballot every election. You can mail it back in, drop in in designated drop boxes, or return it to a polling place on Election Day.

Been doing absentee ballots for many years now. I will make sure I get an absentee ballot for when I am living in Frankfurt.

To remind people they have this option.

Thanks for posting about the witness requirements in other states. I don't think it should be necessary here either but I suppose the thinking was that it reduces voter fraud attempts.
