practically at the very end of their noon news. I couldn't find any verification anywhere online. Of course, we already knew that we were winning, so this acknowledgment by the NOM isn't actually the victory...Washington voters already had given us that. But oh how I love to see the Nommers cry!

Pretty much what happened in MA--massive opposition failed to overturn marriage equality. Later on, people jsut went back to caring more about jobs and health care.

Same-sex couples will be allowed to apply for marriage licenses on Thursday, December 6, 2012, which is when the election will have been certified.

Washington law requires all couples to wait three days after applying for their marriage license before having their marriage ceremony. So if a couple receives their marriage license on December 6, they will have to wait until December 9 to get married.
