288 New Coronavirus Cases In Washington; 14 More Dead
SEATTLE, WA The state Department of Health reported 312 new coronavirus cases Monday afternoon, and two more deaths linked to COVID-19. The largest increase in daily case totals were again recorded in Yakima County. New deaths were reported in Yakima, Benton, Franklin, King and Snohomish counties.
At least 24,642 people have tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began, and 1,190 people have died. The state has tested 415,352 people for the coronavirus, with just under 6 percent testing positive. The state Department of Health said a technical issue prevented some testing data from being included in Wednesday's update.
Across the United States, more than 2 million people have been diagnosed with COVID-19, according to Johns Hopkins University, and more than 113,000 have died.
