Olympic National Park ranked one of the most dangerous in country, study says

PORT ANGELES, Wash. - Olympic National Park is one of the most dangerous national parks in the country, according to a study.

The study, which outforia.com conducted, shows how many search and rescue incidents took place at each park from 2018-2020.

Olympic National Park came in at No. 9, with 204 total over the two-year period.

Although shocking it's near the top of the list, the 204 incidents are a far cry from those at the top.

Its because people try to scale El Capitan, that have no business doing so.

I've been to Yosemite, and used to live down the road from Kings Canyon/Sequoia.
